The Nigeria Models Achievers Award was launched in 2009 and its network includes models and organizations from various categories, who have been dedicated to the realization of industrial reforms and change. The award is part of efforts to celebrate models, business organizations and all behind the scene forces that have made relentless contributions to the growth of the industry.

NMAA is a world class event organized annually to celebrate and honor deserving models, brands and unusual creativity in multimedia advertising. This will cover areas of conceptualization, photography, makeup, branding, directing and all behind-the-scene forces that have contributed immensely to the growth of the modeling and advertising industry, their success have tremendously raised Nigeria’s image in the international scene and back home. This event is presented by 9JATOP MODELS MAGAZINE, a publication of Mic-Dunamis Global Concepts. It is an event that features Green carpet, cocktail, music, glamour, glitz, lights, camera, dance, style, seminars/press conference, nominee party, award presentations and notable designers from around the world and within Africa will be present at the fashion show. Corporate bodies, government personalities and other dignitaries will also grace the occasion.

NMAA 2011 Theme: "Dream Nigeria" is scheduled to hold on the 27th, 2011 at the Scintilla Centre, lekki, Lagos. Ten percent of this year proceed will go to the less privileged
